Work improvements and laziness

Usually laziness has a negative ring to it; but work improvements are an advanced way of being lazy – why make it complicated if you can do things an easy (lazy) way?

Work improvements are all about doing things an easier way – to minimise time during maintenance, setup and adjustment. To optimise the time spent on production and to squeeze through as much possible in the factory. This is of course not only a matter of machinery; this includes everything – staff – buildings – materials – machines and not to forget management.
